Welcome to Crystal Empire, USA
The Dark Alliance has faced a divide: Queen Nehellenia has been purified and is now the Goddess and ruler of the Moon. With her purification at the hands of Neo Queen Serenity and Neo Sailor Moon, there is a shift in the wind – Greek deities (original planet rulers), heralds (Sailors/Knights) and Augurs (priest(esses) and consorts) from the past are being revived and Hades has been unsealed.

With the coming of Hades has seen the unsealing of Satre and Hyperion, and the future is now even more uncertain as the ruler of Nemesis has a vendetta against Chronos…and more. The Future Moon have now since reunited with the Crystal Empire, their memories have been restored. Will they be able to save their future that they can no longer return to?

Eternal is a Sailor Moon role play, rated L3/S3/V3 and self-hosted utilizing MyBB, a software identical to JCink. We use Member Profiles for our application process and focus on a story act system. We have a plethora of canons available including many popular ones. We’re set after Sailor Moon, merging the 90s anime, manga, Sailor Moon Crystal into one game. Spring 2031 (March 1st - June 30th)

(Invitation)  Just like riding a bike
The dead will walk event // March 15, 2031

She hadn’t expected to pick a call of her own, having decided early on that she’d pick up half the coordinating from Jeremiah. Of course, that still meant that Sailor Mercury would be out and about patrolling the districts of Crystal City as soon as the call came through about the undead, of all things. It was a bit easier to direct Senshi and Knights who joined in with this particular clean up when you were out there yourself, and it ensured that she’d be able to lend a hand should she need to.

That moment came soon enough in the night, as Mercury stumbled across a group of civilians caught in the alley of Crystal City’s Essential District. It looked like one of them managed to protect everyone else long enough for her to come in, and another was about to be taken out when they had the same intent.

Pausing long enough to call for backup, Mercury twitched her fingers for familiar spell, calling it aloud out of courtesy to civilians. “Mercury! Aqua Rhapsody!”

The concentrated blast of water distracted the zombies menacing the civilians long enough that some of them now had room to escape. Problem was, now the enemy focused on her.

“Any time you’re ready,” she added, glancing toward the new arrival and gesturing ahead in invitation. “We need to distract and destroy them once the civilians are out of range.”

She couldn’t see quite who it was yet, but hopefully it was someone with more firepower than she had. Going up against the undead by herself was not in her plan if she could help it.

The new arrival was none other than Jacquelyn Devereaux or the Guardian of Fire, Sailor Mars herself -- sensing something in the breeze, thanks to Phobos and Deimos who made it an initiative to seek out their advisee and with a fierce caw resonating through the air as the two hovers ahead; circling in a completely opposite direction of each other as if forming an invisible-like halo was already enough to draw the melanated woman’s attention; prompting her to grab for her transformation wand and summon the power of Mars calling forth her true identity and the very powers that remained integrated within her Sailor Crystal.

There she stood, newly transformed and ready to go -- wasting no time to make a break towards her destination with a swiftness, spotting her fellow comrade whom she had not seen since the meeting as the feminine extended out the digits of her palm as there was an explosive burst of flame-like energy within its reach; said essence morphing and shifting in size to take shape of an archer’s bow as the sounds of her heels clicked against the grovel pavement with every step she took before coming to a stop as the bow was lifted and a ‘thin’ line of invisible string was gripped by the index and thumb digit before being tugged back as a single eye was closed and her position shifted from once that was of a movement stance to attack as the woman shot the other a smile though keeping her gaze focused on the incoming horde of zombies

“I’m always ready. Just say when.” She replied, her brown skin becoming warm as the temperature within her personal space began to rise -- sounds of crackling and popping etching the air as flames would soon make its presence known to those around her; gearing up for an attack while another explosive burst of fire energy materialized within her hand. It was with that explosion that a blazing arrow would soon appear; streaks of fire gushing from its ends as smoldering embers fluttered along its tail and onto the ground.

“I’lll handle this one, you take care of the one going from above,” Mercury told the other woman, thankful it was Mars and she had her bow nocked and ready. “Target the neck - there’s a weak spot on the right side.”

If she could do that, anyway. Sailor Mars was fast, but these monsters could be faster, and Mercury had no time to analyze them properly yet aside from giving her partner the target. There were two that she could see, but there were also those that she couldn’t yet if those signals from her goggles’ read outs were right. Her personal scanner was rarely wrong, but Mercury wasn’t about to trust it in uncertain conditions yet.

“The rest of you, get ready to run,” she added toward the civilians. The one who’d moved to the front gave a terse nod, not saying much. She could understand them, too. Being caught up between a rock and a hard place, or, well, a Senshi and their target, was nobody’s favorite place to be, for her included.

“Mercury - “ she started, only to see a flash of magic come from one of the passerby. The blast was so strong it disintegrated the monster she prepared an Aqua Rhapsody for, and all she could do was stare as the person promptly collapsed.

“Well, Helios’ll be glad to know his theory’s proving correct, though that’s probably an overkill,” she muttered, nodding her thanks as another from the crowd dragged their impromptu helper out of her way. She’ll have to make sure to include this into her report later. Once they had a moment to breathe and she had a second to check that person over, just to ensure there were no ill side effects for them.

The flames that surrounded her soon ran rampant as the passion that flowed through her veins was rising with excitement, galore if you will as this was something she had not done in a while; something that reminded her of why she took her duty as the Guardian of Fire, Sailor Mars so seriously. It wasn't a matter of being a pretty sailor soldier, it wasn't a matter of being someone who wore a pretty skirt and a tiara to match. No, it was because of the mere fact that she doing her due diligence, protecting those she loved and loved her in return. It was a sense of pride and joy, binding herself with the fire that brewed within her soul while observing the very compassion that was learned and integrated into her being -- thanks to the honing and perfecting by herself and encouragement by her Queen.

It was evident by the smile that was beginning to manifest upon her features as her aim began to shift towards the intended target; the very arrow that was summoned and ready for release reacting to her own emotions as the fire raged with determination to neutralize its target; spirals of fierce energy swirling around certain parts of the said arrow as the woman's eyes soon narrowed and her smile disappeared.

"Got it."

Those were her last words as Mercury ran off to tend to the civilians who were trembling in fear and anxiety as it was the air of uncertainty that lingered within their presence -- even amongst Mars and Mercury who was just as confused as to where these individuals were coming from. But for now, the woman needed to focus on her task.

"MARS!"

She called out as the flames grew with size as the call of her Planetary power was issued. "FLAME!" The feminine immediately pinched the string tighter so that she could pull it back with the bow intact as the blazing tail raged with its fiery streak; a vibrant shade of orange and red intermixing as particles of molten embers raged from its essence behind it as if building momentum for the moment it was granted its release; a single eye falling shut as the other remained focused. "SNIPEEEEEEEEEEER!" Those last words bellowing from her lips like a warrior's cry; her digits plucking the string free as the arrow was released and like a piston, its might was barreling towards the undead being with flames spiraling around its shape just before piercing its target's neck as Mercury had indicated was its weak spot.

The flames would soon disperse along with the disappearance of the bow that was in her hand as her attack made contact with the enemy; watching to see what happened and whether or not she could conclude anything from its direct impact...that was until she glanced over her shoulder to check on Mercury as the sudden burst of magic essence exploded from one of the civilians - catching her off guard completely.

"What the...?"

What in the world was going on here..? Did some of these civilians have hidden powers that...even they were aware of? Were they even someone that could be classified as Terrans? There were so many questions and not enough answers but they could figure that out later. Right now, safety and protection were far more important and greater of a goal than anything else at this point. "...Where the heck are these things coming from...and did they just shoot out some sort of...magic???"

“I have about as much idea as you do on either of those questions,” Mercury mumbled, shooting a grin toward Mars at the other woman’s awfully accurate expression of a fish. Granted, she was moments away from doing the same, but someone around here had to be composed - they still had enemies to deal with. “‘Ware at your two o’clock.”

Shooting down another of the undead with the same method, she shook off her hands, gesturing toward the civilians to get going, thankful when they seemed to listen to her command. With them out of the way, it would be much easier to finish off this group, and she focused on particularly tough presence. Thankfully, her Aqua Rhapsody seemed to be working, and she saw no reason to switch up for the moment.

She knew these nasties had to be hit hard and fast, and that was the attack to go with in her case.

Grimacing at the residue from her latest target, Mercury turned on her goggles, gathering data about the wriggling, twisting mass that was left behind. Ever so slowly, it turned into wisps of green smoke fading away, and she was left with uneasy feeling that this was just the beginning, and there was price to pay for this life of hers at the finish.

“Yeah, I know,” she mumbled, giving that feeling words. “There’s always a price. We’ll cross that bridge when we’ll come to it, won’t we?” Raising her voice slightly to be heard by her companion, Mercury lightly nudged Mars with her shoulder in a friendly gesture on her way to check up on their mystery passerby, feeling a part of former camaraderie restored.

Spats and troubles they might have, they were in this immortal life together. They were going to have to face it as such, either case.

"No matter, we'll just have to get our answers later. Quite frankly, it's for the best that we bring this to the attention of the rest of the Empire, or at least for the moment? Jeremiah and Luna. I'm sure this would be interesting information and it's worth looking into..."

She muttered as her attention seemed to have shifted for a bit, as the very accurate display of a fish-like expression dispersed into something more solemn. One would assume that it was the cogs in her mental space turning before snapping back to reality as the woman's words caught her ears.

"Ware at your two o'clock." Those very words operated in tandem as a command as the woman raised her bow; quickly pulling her arm back as a burst of flame accumulated from the tips of her fingers. Its essence molding and shaping as sparks and embers spewed from its core, taking shape as the same arrow that she had shot before - only this time the arrow duplicated itself; summoning two more in its presence. The feminine shut a single eye and immediately released the fury of Mars with just a pluck of her finger; piercing the three enemies that had approached ahead as the blood-curdling screams of her neutralized targets broke the sound barrier.

"We always do and we always will." [/b ] Her response was short and simple before turning her head just a tad so that she could glance over at Mercury but still maintain focus on her surroundings at the same time as her head gave a nod. [b]"You go, I'll cover you." She responded once more before following the other once she made her departure towards the mysterious "human". She had more questions than answers about that given specimen and questioned whether they should even be taken into custody for the sake of questioning, pondering if the individual had a lead on something pertaining to this madness that was unfolding here and now.
