Welcome to Crystal Empire, USA
The Dark Alliance has faced a divide: Queen Nehellenia has been purified and is now the Goddess and ruler of the Moon. With her purification at the hands of Neo Queen Serenity and Neo Sailor Moon, there is a shift in the wind – Greek deities (original planet rulers), heralds (Sailors/Knights) and Augurs (priest(esses) and consorts) from the past are being revived and Hades has been unsealed.

With the coming of Hades has seen the unsealing of Satre and Hyperion, and the future is now even more uncertain as the ruler of Nemesis has a vendetta against Chronos…and more. The Future Moon have now since reunited with the Crystal Empire, their memories have been restored. Will they be able to save their future that they can no longer return to?

Our Common Cause
Dark Alliance // March 4th, 2031

The meeting with Sailor Neptune had left a bad taste in Lilith’s mouth, the once – and current – Great Ruler needed to reassure herself that their plans would succeed. As a ruler, it had dawned on her that success had also come when everyone had not only a common cause, but also when everyone was reminded of what they were striving to achieve.

The loss of Queen Nehellenia was no laughing matter, especially not when it came to their alliance with the Black Moons. No matter how much they may hated extraterrestrials, they needed them to succeed in their common cause – it was she who they needed to align themselves with, to trust in.

And it was only she who would lead them into success.

A long, black cape flowed behind her as she sat on the throne that once had belonged to the Deity Gaea. Two other thrones were beside her, one belonging to the king and former prince. It was a treasure that only fueled Lilith’s own ego, her ambition.

Lilith raised her palms as she unleashed a flicker of summoning energy, summoning homunculi to stand behind her. “Members of the Alliance! You are wanted in the throne room.” She called, using her telepathic powers to communicate with each and every single one of them.

While there were many places he could have sought out, traveled to in the aftermath of his release, Hades had sought out the only planet that was truly brilliant with life. From there it was a matter of turning his focus towards places he once had known, finding that somehow life had both regressed and advanced at the same time (truly, that was confusing).

It took time to acclimate, of course. More time to put into place the things he needed to be able to operate on the planet. Yet the fact that Elysion was steeped in darkness suited his needs just fine and that was why he made his way there. Truthfully, Hades had always been a little partial to Elysion. The reason was mostly due to the fact when he walked upon the earth, he could feel the history underneath his feet. Riches and more sung out to him and that--more than anything else--helped him relax when few others could offer the same respite.

His head tilted at the buzz of a telepathic broadcast, following it until he realized where it was leading. Oh, he did so enjoy seeing empty thrones occupied by those that were never meant to ever sit in them. Hades let out a breath and closed his eyes.

When he opened them again, he was not so much inhabiting himself as he was Emery Sullivan. So many of his fellows had met ill fates when Elysion had been taken but he had not broken underneath the pressure of the Dark Alliance. Instead, he had found purpose and more, brought into the fold and taking on the name Hematite.

(The real question was how long he would play out the lie and whether or not it was worth it to do so. For now, he decided to see what the meeting was about was the best way to go about it. Whether or not this Dark Alliance was worth approaching was still unknown.)

Quiet and respectful, Emery (Hematite) made sure to pay proper respect to the Queen and then moved aside.

It was just one of those days for Luis. He’d spent the better part of the day trying to figure out how to use the pastries and cups of coffee to their advantage in a new way that wouldn’t get his coffee shop attacked by the Senshi. He needed to figure out how to do what he was supposed to do without failing. He’d gathered some energy. Was it enough? Maybe for now, but probably not in the long term.

He heard the telepathic call from Queen Metaria. He told his employees he had a family emergency. Since the Dark Alliance was the closest thing he had to a family, it was close enough. He thought of Leandro like a brother and Leandro’s family all but took him in, but he wasn’t sure if Leandro’s parents would still welcome Luis now that Leandro had been taken by the senshi. He hadn’t even seen Leandro since he was captured. He had no idea if his brother was even still alive or what happened.

He changed into his alter ego, Rhodonite and headed for Elysian. It surprised him to find that he was one of the first ones to arrive. He wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or bad. “My Queen.” He bowed deeply before the throne where Queen Metaria sat and then took his place off to the side as part of the gathering crowd.

As everyone began to gather, Lilith was quick to observe who had arrived promptly versus tardy. While Lilith was fond of being fashionably late, she didn’t tolerate it from her subordinates – Lilith was, after all, of higher status. It was another cruel reminder that  her mother, Queen Nehellenia, had been purified, as she was fond of being on time.

There was one particular soldier, Hematite, who piqued her interest with his promptness. While he was a new recruit, he was already demonstrating behaviors that pleased the Great Ruler. Next came Rhodonite, and Lilith could only raise a palm towards his direction, “Rhodonite.” Lilith acknowledged, “At least I can rely on you. You are doing well, yes?”

It was a nod in acknowledgement as she’d known that he was likely suffering with the loss of Spectrolite,  yet he still behaved accordingly to their mission. Smokey Quartz was soon to follow, kneeling down on one knee.

“The failure that has transpired days prior,” Lilith stood from her throne. “Will not be repeated. Do I make myself clear? Someone tell me what is our ultimate goal!?” It wasn’t a request, it was a demand – Lilith wanted to make sure that each of her subordinates were fully aware of what they were fighting for and striving to achieve. Lilith was not about to tolerate any more failures to their mission.

Rhodonite was used to being invisible. He was used to being that person that no one noticed unless they were being picked on. So when Queen Metaria acknowledged him, it was subtle, but important to him. Few acknowledged him unless they had to, even within the Dark Alliance. Leandro had been one of the few to bother with him. Then again, Leandro was the one to bring him to the Dark Alliance.

“As well as can be expected, my Queen.” He bowed again. “Those Crystal Empire trash will pay for taking Spectrolite from us.” He’d do whatever he needed to in order to make sure that happened. They could be torturing Spectrolite right now for all Rhodonite knew. He wasn’t about to let them get away with that. He’d see every last one of them eviscerated if that’s what it took to get his brother back from them.

Smokey Quartz approached and Rhodonite moved to the side. He waited for things to get started. Queen Metaria stated their previous failures would not continue and then demanded someone tell her their goal. Rhodonite knew they were trying to remove the Crystal Empire from power, but he was now making it his mission to see them destroyed for taking his brother.

Lilith was aware of the bond that was shared between Rhodonite and Spectrolite. She was, after all, closely connected to each of her knights – their petrified Star Seeds were evidence of that, even if it was originally Queen Beryl who may have lured them into the Dark Kingdom, it was ultimately her power.

To hear the words that came from Rhodonite was met with glee, but her features had remained nonchalant.

“Rhodonite, I know that this must be difficult for you. Both you and Smokey Quartz will have my consent to do what you must to retrieve your comrade, free him from the grasps of the Crystal Empire. But do not dare succumb to such a foolish mistake that he had and be caught in their web of lies.”

She would not lose another knight, even if she knew the truth regarding their identities. However, that had also brought another issue…one that she was aware that she was mostly speaking about herself and her own experiences.

“The Crystal Empire will be aware of each of your civilian identities now, you no longer have the cover of darkness to protect you during your missions. The Crystal Empire would not have allowed Spectrolite to go long without giving them that knowledge, and it would be foolish of any one of you to believe that you can trust him while he is corrupted by them.”
