Welcome to Crystal Empire, USA
The Dark Alliance has faced a divide: Queen Nehellenia has been purified and is now the Goddess and ruler of the Moon. With her purification at the hands of Neo Queen Serenity and Neo Sailor Moon, there is a shift in the wind – Greek deities (original planet rulers), heralds (Sailors/Knights) and Augurs (priest(esses) and consorts) from the past are being revived and Hades has been unsealed.

With the coming of Hades has seen the unsealing of Satre and Hyperion, and the future is now even more uncertain as the ruler of Nemesis has a vendetta against Chronos…and more. The Future Moon have now since reunited with the Crystal Empire, their memories have been restored. Will they be able to save their future that they can no longer return to?

Eternal is a Sailor Moon role play, rated L3/S3/V3 and self-hosted utilizing MyBB, a software identical to JCink. We use Member Profiles for our application process and focus on a story act system. (Invitation)  that's how it goes
sevik // January 31, 2031

Not long after skulking out from the meeting--most certainly not with her proverbial tail tucked between her legs--Kasidhe had sought out Sevik. Once upon a time, when she had been a teenager, she had thought the stoic Golden King to be attractive (though never anything more than that), albeit unfortunately evil. She had remembered the truth of the matter, who the four men Beryl had taken truly were, but it was something that had been hard to explain.

Now, however, all she could think of was how much the presence of the Golden Kings--at least in the case of Zoisite--was a pain for her.

Which was exactly why she had sought out Sevik.

"Hey, Sev," called Kasidhe, catching him as he was turning a corner. Definitely not thinking about her track record with using nicknames today either. "Do you have a moment? I really, really need to talk to you about something." The absolutely most put-out expression was on her face; as if she was truly troubled by whatever it was she was going to speak about (frankly, it was the truth).

"You might be the only one that can help me with it, in fact."

Things lately seemed to get more and more tense lately and Sevik’s to-do list grew longer than he knew what to do with. He turned when he heard his name. Kasidhe appeared by his side and he frowned. No doubt she wanted something. He could tell by the way she asked if he had time. He didn’t really have the time. He was already late to another meeting, and he knew he’d already be told about his tardiness. Whatever this was about, he didn’t have time for it.

Sevik turned to face Kasidhe fully and groaned internally at the face she gave him. This wasn’t the first time he’d seen that look, and he doubted it would be the last time. Kasidhe asked to speak with him about something. She made it sound urgent and while he didn’t have that much experience dealing with her as some others did; he wondered if it was really as urgent as she made it out to be. When she went a step further and said he might be the only one that could help her, he raised an eyebrow.

“Alright, let’s see if we can find an empty office or conference room.” He didn’t want to, but he figured it would be best to just get this over with. Besides, she piqued his curiosity if nothing else. The first door they tried was an empty conference room. He led Kasidhe inside and closed the door. “What is this about?” He wanted to know what he was getting into before he promised anything.

There had been something odd about the meeting. Well, no, it wasn't odd so much as that Kasidhe really did not like how close and comfy Zoisite had been with Cynthia (and Jason) but that was neither here nor there. In fact, Zoisite was comfortable with the other Sailor Guardians in a way that she currently was not and that made her more irritable.

(Truthfully, it made her feel more like a failure but she was still in the wearing her arse as a hat phase despite the number of times she had been told off already.)

None of which stopped her from smiling as Sevik agreed to speak with her. "Sure, there's one just down this way, I think!" Except that just down this way turned out to be a five-minute walk and fortunately, Sevik found one on the first try.

... so maybe she did not know her way around the Crystal Palace as well as she should? So what!

"It's just a small thing," replied Kasidhe, once they were in the conference room and the door closed. "Just kind of worried that Zo-Jeremiah might be stretching himself thin, you know?" That was the right way to come at it, she thought because if she just out and out went after the Golden King of Healing and Purification again it would go about as well as it did the first time.

And the second time.

Hopefully this time she would actually be able to get through to someone!

Truthfully, Sevik didn’t want to be here. There was a list somewhere of things that he could probably be doing… probably should be doing instead of talking to Kasidhe, but he figured it was probably best to just get whatever it was over with now before it ended up being a bigger deal than necessary.

Was it bad that he was already annoyed that she didn’t seem to know her way around the Crystal Palace? Thankfully his empathy powers gave him a pretty good idea of whether there were people in a room so it just seemed like he’d gotten lucky when he pulled her toward a room.

He raised an eyebrow when Kasidhe said it was a small thing, but he did his best to keep his expression neutral, especially when she went on to mention Jeremiah. He was probably the last person she should be coming to with concerns over Jeremiah, considering Jeremiah basically had to take over her duties since she walked away from them. It made him wonder what she was even doing here at the moment.

“I assure you that Jeremiah is handling all of his duties quite well.” The concern was valid giving everything Jeremiah had to do. He imagined his concern was more genuine than Kasidhe’s, but he didn’t think that would be particularly helpful to state. He also got the feeling there was more to this conversation than Kasidhe’s concern for Jeremiah. “What is this really about?” He asked. He was not in a mood to play games.

Kasidhe's brow knitted together--a deliberate look of confusion, one that was reflected within her emotions (but given that she was also an emotiopath, that could be suspect)--before she replied to Sevik.

"It is about that," answered Kasidhe. "He's really taking on too much and I'm worried about it!" Again, the worry was reflected in her emotions but still did not mean much at all. The truth of it was that Kasidhe was worried but the reasons for that worry were not what they really should have been.

"With everything going on, we can't afford to stretch ourselves thin and need to focus on our duties, not branch out and take on more." Her arms crossed, expression focused and stubborn.

"If he takes on looking out for Cynthia, helping me with protecting her, then it leaves [Endymion] without the protection he needs. The Dark Alliance is stepping it up, you know? Especially since we know who Metaria is now and ..." A breath is released. "The Planetary Knights are corrupted and need to be rescued."

Talking about Danburite was not easy, especially as she thought about how close she had been to Aster Schmidt in the past (they had crossed paths in that kind of social circle). "You and Jeremiah--and the other Golden Kings--are going to be taking point on that, aren't you?" As in: that was another reason why Jeremiah did not need to be taking on more duties!

Sevik pressed his lips into a thin line as she insisted that her worries were for Jeremiah.  He knew what he felt coming from her so either she was a very good liar or she was even fooling herself.

“Why Jeremiah in particular?”  He asked.  The outers had extra duties on them, as did he and the other golden kings.  So why was she so fixated on Jeremiah?  It didn’t add up.  “We’re all overworked, but I don’t see that any of us can afford to do any less.”  The look he gave her might have been a little extra pointy.  There was too much that needed to get done and not enough of them to do it.  They were all tired and overworked, but could they afford to slack off in any way?  He wasn’t so sure.

“As his bodyguard, protecting [Endymion] has always fallen to me.  Even with Jeremiah protecting Cynthia, the rest of our team is enough to protect [Endymion].”  His eyes narrowed at her as she went on to say how much the Dark Alliance was doing and then moved on to the Planetary Knights.  He crossed his arms over his chest.  Yeah, he was certain this had nothing to do with Jeremiah’s health.

“What would you suggest we do about it?”  He asked.  She was the one that walked away from her duties and created more duties that the rest of them needed to cover.  It just happened that Jeremiah’s abilities were best suited to protecting Cynthia.

Never let it be said that Kasidhe Eliott did not know how to dig her own grave because this day--more than any other--was point and case.

Especially when the words finally tumbled out. "... because he seems to think he can do a better job than I can as Cynthia's bodyguard and double!" she snapped out, a hand immediately raising and covering her mouth as she scowled briefly. Worse than that: it seemed that not only did Cynthia agree with that, so did Lucy! Possibly even Sevik! Hell, maybe everyone thought Jeremiah could do a better job than her, and that only made her feel even more agitated.

Which she quickly squashed back down.

"I've been reassigned," she said sourly, "and simply thought you might be able to talk sense into Jeremiah." Reassigned was certainly a nice way to put it. "Haven't you noticed he's not been sleeping? Even I noticed how on edge he looked at the meeting and that can't be afforded at the moment. It means he's stretching himself thin between duties and needs to focus back on his normal ones."

At least this time she was minding her tongue where certain phrases were involved and not being disparaging or implying things regarding Jeremiah.

... she had learned a little, basically, but not much.

Sevik’s eyes widened at the girl’s outburst and pressed his lips into a thin line.  He said nothing for the moment.  Kasidhe seemed to understand that she misspoke and covered her mouth.  He waited for an apology or something to follow, but it never did.  Instead she mentioned how she’d been reassigned and started in on Jeremiah again.  This time, Sevik was not able to hold back the anger.

“You’re one to talk!”  He snapped.  He took a deep breath and tried to reign it in, but he could only do so much.  “If you wanted to keep your job as Cynthia’s bodyguard, then you should have stayed focused on that instead of slacking off as a guardian to go chasing dreams of being an idol.”  He didn’t even understand how anyone could put their own selfish wants above duty and destiny.

“This isn’t just about you and what you want.  When you walked out on Cynthia, you weren’t just walking out on your friend, you walked out on the Queen, who needed you.  Jeremiah is being stretched thin to pick up your bodyguard duties because someone has to.  The Queen needs a bodyguard she can rely on and that will not be you for quite a long time.  Everyone needs to learn to trust you as a guardian and trust that you’re not going to drop everything to go chasing dreams again.  You let everyone down, Cynthia especially and if anyone needs sense talked into them, it’s not Jeremiah, it’s you.”  Having said that, Sevik turned to leave.  If he stayed any longer, he would say things he would likely regret later.
