London was hitting on a girl while sipping some champagne. When the ground started shaking he was taken by surprise and acting as an innocent guest he hid but when Roxie caused a distraction for the Guardians London transformed into Staurolite and came out of his hiding place. With a smirk he felt the darkness around them and watched as the chaos erupted around them. Summoning his light saber he looked around and noticed there was no one around the Queen and so using his light ability to his advantage to hide his face he headed in her direction.

As he went he saw some of the guardians transforming and knew they would be mostly helping the civilians in the room. Though Cynthia was their queen there was in fact a significant amount of civilians in attendance. "Hello, your majesty. I do hope you enjoyed your party." The solider of light(ironic huh?) smirked as he looked down at the white haired queen. He never realized how small she actually was until this moment.

With a slight chuckle, he reached out to her hoping he could do this quickly without anyone noticing him. It would be bad and it would more then likely end in his death but he had to do it. He was a soldier of the Dark Kingdom and it was his duty to take care of things. Despite the strange emotions he received when he was around the queen. They were almost nostalgic and familial but he didn't understand why. He'd interacted with her on several occasions now and each one seemed to bring out a new emotion in him. Staurolite wasn't sure he cared for the feelings.

At this very moment, Serenity desperately wished that she was able to transform. Everyone was gathering together to protect the citizens from their enemies, and as it turned out, Serenity wouldn't have ever guessed that the one of their biggest threats had returned: Queen Metaria.

She swore that she had defeated her, and when her energy mass formed within the ballroom, Serenity felt herself tense. Why couldn't she transform? She was still very new to using the Silver Crystal alone, having always been used to triggering it through the power of Sailor Moon.

Serenity wasn't like her mother at all. She felt like she didn't have the skill to use it on its own, without the power of Sailor Moon or her friends combined. So, when an enemy attacked in addition to the power of Metaria -- Andradite, was it? -- Serenity felt defenseless on her own. Serenity would summon the Silver Crystal within the palm of her hand, her eyes soon focusing on Staurolite when he addressed her.

The way he spoke..... it bore such familiarity. But who was he?

"I am NOT going to let you harm me or these people!" Serenity exclaimed, using the Silver Crystal to form a barrier around not only herself, but the citizens as well. "Metaria, I defeated you once and I'll do it again!"

She heard Metaria laughing then, mockingly. Uranus's own appearance was a major distraction to her. Why didn't she stay in her room? Why was this happening?

When Staurolite attempted to reach out to her, Serenity was quick to back away. If he was an enemy, she wasn't going to let him near her. She'd learned that mistake already, by going to an enemy's territory and being attacked -- almost assassinated.

"Stay away from me." Serenity snapped, the Silver Crystal floating in the palm of her hands as she kept it close. She wasn't afraid to use it to attack if she absolutely needed to.

Celeste watched as more enemies appeared within the room. While the Silver Crystal was strong, she knew it couldn't hold back everyone and everything. It was okay to have help, she'd learned that several times when younger, and this was one of those moments. She was excited when the sailor senshi continued to transform within the room. But it made the moment in front of her difficult

Her parents, her family, friends and citizens were all in trouble. If she gave up her identity then so would she, but she couldn't bare to do that now. The queen gave her a task and she has to follow, even if it meant she had to bite her lip. The integrity of the future was important, she couldn't see Pluto anywhere, but knew that once this was over they'd have to talk again.

She was upset that this was happening in front of her, she wanted to tell them all to leave her home alone, but what would that do? But I didn't matter, she was going to help her timeline, even if she got a little dirty. Celeste was lucky enough to be new the refreshments, and happy that some of the food could be thrown. She picked up some finger sandwiches and threw them at her nearest foes. "You guys are crashing the wrong party. We definitely didn't come here to be harassed by whoever you all are! " She paused and took a look around at the people, they were scared, and so was she, but today she couldn't stay scared anymore.

"So, how about we all go home and you ...all leave this kingdom alone! I mean how low can you get by sabotaging an event!"

Celeste said aloud to the uninvited baddies, as she picked up anything within her eyesight and threw it at them. Her heart was racing a mile a minute, she was completely acting, hoping her words and actions had struck a chord somehow. She was displaying herself for the people, maybe one of them would stand up too.

Sailor Jupiter

Jupiter should have seen this coming. She should have had a feeling that something bad was going to happen - opening the palace doors to the outside was a mistake, even if they couldn't have had an idea that their enemies would invade. They should have prepared for such things as this. She blamed herself, she blamed the other Guardians... there was a part of her that blamed Endymion and Serenity as well. They should have been prepared. They needed to be prepared if this was the olive branch that they were going to extend, and yet...

Here they were. How many more disasters was it going to take for Serenity to realize that maybe, just maybe, peace wasn't an option here? Jupiter was prepared to say that she was angry, but she had every right to be. Of the Guardians, it had been Jupiter that had lost the most - and it just felt like the losses, even as a collective, continued to rack up. Even if the fight was far from over Jupiter considered this a loss - tonight was supposed to be for the people, for peace, and what they had gotten was the farthest from it. Jupiter glowered. Electricity coarsed along her body as she clenched first.

Pluto screamed. Jupiter arrived on the scene, threatening their own health. Jupiter was the Guardian of Protection. It should have been up to her to make certain that this didn't happen, and yet... and yet... Someone was approaching the queen. Cynthia might have been at the center of all the things that frustrated Jupiter right now, but she was the Guardian of Protection. It was up to her to keep the Neo-Queen safe. Cynthia was supposed to be one of her best friends... And as Staurolite sauntered up to her, Jupiter surveyed the room.

A girl attempted to rally the people and to distract the villains. She seemed familiar - at least, her energy did - and Pluto was hunched in the corner, unable to act. Star Healer and Uranus could handle Andradite and Halite. As Metaria's voice echoed throughout the ball room, Jupiter reacted. She surged forward with amazing speed, and roared, "Get away from her!" in the direction of Staurolite.

"Supreme! Thunder! Dragon!" Jupiter held her hands out and fired her attack, electricity forming into the shape of a dragon barreling directly at Staurolite.

Staurolite watched her back away but he refused to let her go since he was this close. What drew him back wasn't her words but the Crystal that floated in the palm of her hands. He needed to get that away from her mostly because he didn't want to be hit by a blast from it or anything. His gaze on the queen intensified and he refused to allow this to stop him. He was suppose to live and die for the Dark Kingdom. It was his duty. Pulling his sword handle from the sheath and as he did his sword made of light formed. "But your majesty, all I was going to do was ask for a dance." The man smirked at her as he gripped his sword. He opted to ignore the stuff happening around him and decided to focus on the young woman in front of him.

Just as he was about to reach for her once more he heard a voice yell toward him. Glancing toward the voice, Staurolite groaned seeing the Jupiter guardian and let out a deep breath. "Fantastic." Seeing the electricity dragon barreling toward him he instantly held up his sword to block the dragon. Staurolite used his other hand and held it against the blade and created a shield to attempt to block the attack. Although he was able to block it, the attacked pushed him back away from the queen. "That wasn't very nice, Jupiter." The man practically spat her name as if it was venom on his tongue.

Summoning a small ball of light to his hand and raised his hand toward her. "Let's add some light to this party." The ball of light shot out of his hand toward the guardian hoping the brightness will distract her long enough for him to attack. He wasn't going to allow a troublesome guardian stop them from completing the mission.

He was...going to ask her for a dance?

Serenity didn't believe that, not with everything that was going on. Not with the energy that she felt from him. There was something about his energy signature that bore such familiarity, Serenity wasn't entirely sure what was calling out to her in the back of her mind.

He's not an enemy, Serenity.

Wait, what?

Startled by the train of thought, Serenity's long, silver hair moved through the wind that the attacks generated created. This was a disaster and Serenity needed to stop it fast. The cackling of Metaria's laughter echoed through her ears, she felt the darkness intensify as the chaos ensued. Even a younger girl was attempting to cause some sort of distraction, but Serenity's azure hues were everywhere and frequently shifted to multiple scenes before falling right back onto the scene before her with Staurolite.

Almost as if in a trance, Serenity's eyes closed shut and her body glowed white along with the crescent moon on her forehead. Her very energy began to resonate with the Crystal Palace. She felt it, its desire to protect the citizens from harm, its desire to protect the city.

Its warm, brilliant white light soon began to shine throughout the palace. Serenity hadn't even realized what she was doing, the look on her face spoke this very clearly. If someone was to touch her, Serenity would not feel it -- she was in sync with the Crystal Palace. And as if tapping into a button a computer program, Serenity activated a feature of the Crystal Palace that she hadn't known about before: the ability to kick out anyone with a dark heart or intent.

Gusts of wind formed within the palace as Serenity channeled its very energy, and with the use of teleportation it would teleport anyone who met those qualifications -- regardless of their power level -- right outside of the Crystal Palace.

Azure eyes soon opened as her figure was still glowing an intense white light. "Get out of my house -- this sanctuary! I won't let you harm these people any more!" Serenity snapped at her foes, and once the task was done, Serenity's body collapsed onto the floor onto her knees. She was still conscious, but the way that she performed this tactic was not expected or controlled.

How did I do that? Serenity internally thought, gazing towards the palm of her hand before she gulped. Had she done something so stupid as to send her enemies out into the city? No, that was likely the better scenario -- at least there they weren't in such an enclosed space and they'd have more control of the situation at hand.

Her hand that remained on the floor would clench into a fist. "Galactica, ensure the safety of the people here, please! Sol Guardians, we must act quickly!"

Sailor Uranus

If there was one thing that Uranus hated, it was feeling like she wasn’t doing everything she was capable of, especially when there was a crisis.  Not that she didn’t trust the other guardians to do their best in an attack, but she’d never forgive herself if she was sitting idle and something happened to any of the other guardians or Neo Queen Serenity.  She would never admit it outright, but she was glad to see Sailor Star Healer join her in facing Andradite.

“We’ve known each other for how long and you’re finally just realizing that?”  She asked at Healer’s teasing. Uranus was glad to see Healing going after the statue before it could harm anyone while she sent her own attack directly at Andradite.  Unfortunately, Halite showed up before the attack reached Andradite and created a salt shield that absorbed the attack. The only satisfaction Uranus got was seeing the salt structure buckling under the force of the attack and crumbling.

Uranus didn’t realize it until it was too late, but she’d let Andradite draw her attention from elsewhere.  Staurolite had approached Serenity and Uranus wasn’t close enough to stop him.  She was thankful that Jupiter was nearby and attacked him before he could harm their queen. She felt so foolish for letting it happen.  She was the head of Serenity’s personal security and such things fell under her responsibility.

Before Uranus realized what had happened, Serenity tapped into the power of the silver crystal and sent their enemies out of the palace.  With wide eyes she turned to face Serenity. It wasn’t until Serenity said they needed to act quickly that she snapped out of her amazement.  They’d barely moved before she started barking orders into her communicator for the palace guards on duty and stationed directly outside of the palace.  “Evans and Shay, I want eyes on our enemies now! Get me locations ASAP!” She headed toward the entrance even before she finished.

The tensions were rising and Andradite was reveling in it all. It was cute how the soldiers came running to try and challenge them. It made her smile bright and heart race as her ego inflated at the idea of destroying them all. Andradite just barely dodged the World Shaking attack from Sailor Uranus thanks to Halite and she chose to ignore his little small talk. She noticed how most of the soldiers' attacks shook the tables violently as glass flew and crashed around civilians trying to escape the chaos.

"A little reckless there..." Andradite winked. "Might want to be careful there!"

The fiery knight grabbed a table with her chains and threw it blindly, with no intentions of hitting anyone in particular; just something to cause a little trouble. Andradite was about to focus on Uranus but a small voice called out to her. She peered around and saw a petite woman standing tall, trying to look tough it seemed.

"Huh, cute," Andradite floated closer to the young blonde standing up to them. "You're pretty brave sticking your neck out like that."

Just as she was about to coil Celeste up in one of her chains, Andradite's vision was just of a bright, white light as she found herself outside the Crystal Palace. It took her a moment to realize where she was as she frantically looked around. She saw everyone else outside here too, the ones causing the trouble anyway. Andradite tried to get closer to the palace but a force kept pushing her away, almost like there was a shield or something covering the territory and she could not get in.

What a bummer, just as things were heating up. Andradite grabbed something heavy with her chains and lunged it at the palace, only to see it disintegrate right in front of her. She scoffed as she quickly retreated into a teleport, somewhere secluded for the time being. She reverted to her civilian identity and Roxie made haste to her apartment to turn in for the night.

Just as quickly as the pain began, as time started to rupture and fracture around her, did it stop. She had been huddle in the corner of the ballroom of the palace, doing all that she could possibly manage just to stand. She had been rendered powerless - useless - not just by the pain, but by the fact that Pluto herself was a mystery and would be evermore. She couldn't transform publicly, and in the state that she had found herself in, it wouldn't have helped.

She heard the call of Metaria and she felt the appearance of other evils, watched helplessly as the Dark Kingdom soldiers ravaged the ball, and she was useless. Demi cursed herself under her breath, but she had faith in her Uranus, in Jupiter, and in their queen. And that faith was well placed. What the Queen didn't know about the Silver Crystal was that it had a way of tapping into the innermost thoughts and desires of She who held it; its powers were, after all, well and truly unmatched.

When the evil was dispelled from the Crystal Palace, the time quake stopped. Slowly Demitria rose to her feet, shaky but still able. She looked around the ball room - spotting Small Lady specifically, and nodding in her direction - and then relied on the walls for support. She found her way to the nearest door, slipped out mostly unnoticed, and immediately started for the Space-Time Door.
