Violet Poole

ALIAS: Princess Neptune, Queen Neptune; Sailor Neptune, Super Sailor Neptune, Eternal Sailor Neptune; Nerissa
AGE: 36
FACTION: Inactive
PRONOUNS: She/her/hers
ETHNICITY: Neptunian
FACE CLAIM: Aja Naomi King

 • Cell Phone: As with anyone else living in modern times, Violet has her cell phones - multiple - on her at all times. She has one phone that she has for personal use, the number of which she only gives out to her closest friends and family, and one that she exclusively uses for business that she only gives the number of to her agent, manager, and collaborators.

 • Sailor Crystal: Also the Star Seed of the planet Neptune, the Sailor Crystal of Neptune is another object that is - theoretically - always physically present on her, though it's more that it isn't always a physical object per se, as much as something that exists from inside of her. As Sailor Neptune, the crystal rests within the brooch on the middle of her bow.

 • Deep Aqua Mirror: The talisman of Sailor Neptune, the Deep Aqua Mirror was once an object used by Neptune - alongside the other Talismans - to summon the destructive power of Sailor Saturn. Now, though she no longer requires it to summon Sailor Saturn, Violet uses the mirror both as Sailor Neptune and in her everyday life. She can use the mirror to divine the near future as well as the truth of things, and when things are decidedly wrong. The Deep Aqua Mirror is a small hand mirror, with a gold base and trim around the glass itself. The back of the mirror is a deep green, resembling the sea itself, bordered by the same gold on the edges and featuring the symbol of Neptune dead center.

 • Violin: Neptune, as a concert violinist since she was a young child, of course owns her own violin. The current instrument that she uses is an expensive Stradivarius, gifted to her by Sailor Uranus for their tenth anniversary. The name of this violin, as with all of her violins since she was young, is the Marine Cathedrale.

 • Wedding Band: Sailor Neptune's wedding ring never leaves her left hand. Ever.
 • Helicopter: Violet owns her very own helicopter for use of herself and those that she cares about.
 • Leviathan's Tooth: The Leviathan's Tooth is an ancient trident that once belonged to King Neptune himself. Sailor Neptune has only recently gained the ability to summon this weapon, seemingly a direct response to the inability to rely overly much on the Deep Aqua Mirror. It enhances her attacks and allows her to fight physically if necessary.

NAME: Sailor Neptune

 • Thalassokinesis: Thalassokinesis is the ability of being able to generate and manipulate salt water. Sailor Neptune, as the soldier of the oceans, is able to freely use this ability as she so chooses - something that can be seen in her natural attacks and abilities rather easily.
 • Sonokinesis: Sonokinesis is the ability to manipulate sound waves - something that, once again, falls under Sailor Neptune's jurisdiction.
 • Precognition: Something awarded to her through the use of the Deep Aqua Mirror, Violet is capable of - normally - seeing vaguely in to the future.
 • Postcognition: Once again awarded to her through the use of the Deep Aqua Mirror Violet is capable of seeing things that have happened in the past or are happening presently.
 • Deep Submerge

 • Submarine Reflection

 • Submarine Violin Tide

 • Sea Serpent Strangle: Sailor Neptune generates sea water that then wraps around and constricts a target.
 • Neptune Trident Wave: Sailor Neptune summons the Leviathan's Tooth, an ancient trident that allows her to enhance the power of both Sea Serpent Strangle and Deep Submerge, as well as allowing her to fire off a blast of seawater in the shape of a wave. She can also use the trident to fight physically.

Long ago, during the age of the Silver Milennium, Sailor Neptune was known as Princess Nerissa, sole princess to the planet Neptune in the outer reaches of the Solar System. Unlike the majority of the solar system's planets, Nerissa was given a separate task; alongside the princess of the neighboring planet Uranus, Celeste, it was the task of Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus to protect the Silver Millennium from any and all attacks that would come from outside of their star system. Little did anyone know, however, that the Silver Millennium had been doomed to fail from the moment that the young Princess Serenity had been born - and how was anyone to know that the being that would lead to their failure would come from within them?

That, of course, meant that Celeste and Nerissa would fail in their endeavors. However, being the only two guardians whose focus was preventing threats from invading the Silver Millennium caused the princesses to become close with one another. As they used their talismans to free Sailor Saturn, the guardian of ruin and rebirth, from her deep slumber and assist Queen Serenity in granting the people of the Silver Millennium another chance at life - including Nerissa, Celeste, and the other princesses. Promising to meet Celeste once again in their next lives, whoever and wherever they may be, Nerissa faced the oncoming darkness head on and as a princess and guardian should.

The next time that Neptune would open her eyes it would be as Violet Poole, once again the sole child, but this time to a United States Senator and her husband, the CEO of his own company. If one were to say that Violet was raised spoiled, they wouldn't have been wrong. Her parents always made certain that she had the best things in life; the best schools and the best tutors that said schools could supply, jewelry and other finer things in life, but most importantly to Violet - she was allowed to learn music. All kinds of music. She had her own tutor for a majority of classical instruments, as well as a vocal coach, but there was only one instrument that she truly took to: the violin. And not only was she good at playing it - she was impeccable.

As she grew, her star would rise - her studies would eventually entirely move to studying at home so that she could manage the best education that her parents could afford as well as hone her craft. And hone her craft she did: by the time she was in her late teenage years she became known for her music, she was an up and coming talent, a name to look out for. But the truth of the matter was that she was distracted. Whenever Violet looked in the mirror, it wasn't her face that she saw... at least, not exclusively her face. There was also the face of another woman, with short blonde hair; a face that Violet could have sworn that she had seen before. A face that spoke to her unlike anything or anyone had spoken to her before. It became quickly apparent that she needed to find her.

So, while on tour it became a secondary mission to find this girl, but her search would bring her into contact with a soldier of the Dark Kingdom. The soldier sought to steal the life energy from Violet, and they very well would have succeeded - if it weren't for the fact that Violet's precognitive abilities led to the awakening of Sailor Neptune in the 21st century, and with that, Nerissa's memories came to the surface. While Sailor Moon and the others took care of the Dark Kingdom, Violet finally remembered who the face of the woman belonged to - Celeste! She remembered her promise, and continued to seek her out in the present, even going so far as to temporarily put her tour on hold. It wouldn't take long before they found one another again - Celeste had been living in this world as Alexis Tanner, and with Violet's help, remembered their past together.

Alexis and Violet grew incredibly close incredibly quickly, and a large part of that had to do with the fact that her dreams and visions changed from being about Alexis themself and more about an oncoming darkness and destruction. With Uranus' help, Neptune sought out the catalyst for the rebirth of Sailor Saturn, looking this time to stop it. This was how Uranus and Neptune crossed paths with the Inner Sailor Guardians and their princess in a former life, Sailor Moon. Uranus and Neptune initially preferred to work alone in order to achieve their goal, finding that the Inner Guardians were akin to nuisances in regards to the situation. Before long, Neptune and Uranus would add Sailor Pluto to their ranks, and set out to stop Sailor Saturn from awakening at any cost - once and for all. It would turn out that they weren't far off from the climactic battle, where Sailor Saturn and Sailor Moon would seal away the wicked Pharaoh 90 once and for all.

Upon the close of the battle the nine remaining Sailor Guardians would discover that Sailor Saturn had been reborn after using all of their power. Violet took to the child almost immediately and convinced Alexis to take the child as their own, and from there it was decided that they would raise her alongside Sailor Pluto. The next few years went by quickly, between parenting Saturn and helping Sailor Moon and the other guardians against the likes of both the Dead Moon Circus and the Shadow Galactica. The battle with the Galactica was fought long and hard, and with the assistance of three additional guardians from outside of their Star System. Ultimately, it would end in a battle that would take the lives of not only Neptune but each and every Sailor Guardian involved other than Sailor Moon. At the close of the battle the Guardian Cosmos would once again grant them another chance, and for once, that meant a chance at normalcy.

The first thing that Violet did was accept Alexis' proposal, and she was happy to. It was a long time coming - thousands of years in fact. Violet returned to her music, given the fact that they didn't have to worry over the chaos any longer. Everything had become perfect, and truth be told Violet had everything that she could have ever asked for - a beautiful spouse, a successful career, a loving daughter and a third, equally as lovely co-parent. But it wouldn't take long for things once again to become... for lack of a better word, busy. With the marriage of Serenity and Endymion also came the rise of the new Crystal Millennium and the formation of Crystal City off the coast of Florida, and though Violet maintained her individuality and continued with her career she assisted her new king and queen in the politics of the situation and bringing the city - and their new sovereignty - into being.

But it felt like between then and now had happened in the blink of an eye. Violet watched as her daughter grew up before her eyes, and she was happy. She hadn't had any prophetic visions in a notably long time, or at least anything that spelled disaster - but that all changed shortly before the first attack of the Black Moon Clan, and with the return of the Dark Kingdom. Now Violet has taken a hiatus from her work as a violinist and has indefinitely planted roots within Crystal City, assisting Alexis and the other Guardians in protecting Neo Queen Serenity and trying to root out this burgeoning Dark Alliance.

Violet's fingers trembled as they attempted to wrap themselves around her mirror; she had warned the guardians that there was something coming at the meeting earlier in the week, but she couldn't tell them what. And try as she might in the time spent since that day, she still couldn't say. The Black Moon had attacked, and she felt utterly powerless. As she stared at the glass of her mirror, once reliable and still reliable for other things, she came up with absolutely nothing. It was clouded, as though the glass itself had been filled with fog - or like the future dared to be in flux.

"Enough," Violet said to herself - she had been sitting in the suite that she and Alexis shared in the Crystal Palace, but she had been alone. She knew that there was a meeting soon, called at the last minute by Sailor Jupiter to discuss what had happened; she told Alexis to go on without her. She hadn't told her spouse why, but she was sure that they could assume that she was struggling. She had been struggling the entire time, and at the least wanted to give the future one last opportunity to make itself clear to her.

Violet reached into the top drawer of her vanity, and gently placed the mirror in it, face down. She wasn't worried about the glass scratching - it was magical and it had been through enough that she knew that wouldn't be a problem, and to be completely honest she was done looking at it for an amount of time that could only be quantified as significant. She inhaled deeply, closing her eyes for a moment and finding her center, or at least something that appeared to be a center. She would not sit with the rest of the Guardians uncomposed, even if they had seen her frazzled before.

It was better to exhibit strength, especially in times when strength was needed.

So she rose to her feet when she was ready, even if she was well aware that she was going to be ever-so-slightly late. As she started walking, entering the halls of the Crystal Palace, her entire form flashed seafoam green and where Violet had been Sailor Neptune, in the blues and greens of her Sailor uniform, stood and walked with her head held high. It didn't take long for her to reach and enter the meeting room, nodding to everyone as she did so and listening to both Layla and Serenity as they spoke.

It was the mention of another, newer Sailor Moon that got Neptune's attention. She quirked an eyebrow and leaned forward on the table. "It's just as you said, though, isn't it? You can't access that power anymore. Perhaps what that means is, because you've elevated to Neo Queen Serenity, somebody else can. Somehow. We still aren't entirely aware of how the Silver Crystal works, or all of the things that it can do. Perhaps it was of the mind that the world needed a Sailor Moon, and reacted accordingly?"

Neptune took another deep breath, exhaling and looking at everyone present before moving on. "Nothing with this fight has been predictable, and... the future is unclear to me. We've got to be prepared to accept any and all possibilities. Including this one. I'm sorry, Cynthia."
