Cell Phone
Just like the majority of the people, Minji also possesses a phone in order to communicate with the people from this era. Unlike what one would most likely expect from a Senshi of Darkness, the small item is actually ivory in color.

NAME: Sailor Nemesis
ELEMENT: Darkness

Chains of Darkness
Focusing her energy, Minji can summon and freely control pitch-black chains from any shadow or structure made of darkness within a radius of 20 meter around her. While the tips of the chains are equipped with spikes, they aren't capable of seriously injuring those that aren't just normal humans and simply serve the defensive and utility purposes. Sailor Nemesis is able to simultaneously summon and control a total of 10 chains that can appear from a single or different shadows and will crumble away, if she is too far away from them. A single chain is thereby enough to trap a human being without the possibility of them breaking free by relying on their physical strength alone, but obviously would only serve as a temporary hindrance to beings blessed by the Galaxy Cauldron or possessing similar strength. In order to completely bind such an individual, at least six chains are needed.

Nemesis Storm
Wrapping both of palms in dense swaths of dark energy, Minji then brings the small clouds together in front of her chest where they immediately merge, quickly increasing in size until a menacing sphere with a diameter of two feet is formed. The floating orb will then emit a devastating barrage of ebon beams whose tips resemble spearheads and which are strong enough to pierce even stone. The rays released by the eerie globe at first approach their targets in a straight line, but aren't bound to that course; as long as Sailor Nemesis makes contact with the cloud of darkness in front of her, she is capable of freely manipulating their trajectory, which turns the act of dodging into a difficult task, while at the same time making her vulnerable to incoming attacks if she wishes to keep manipulating their flight path.

Nemesis Sphere
After channeling energy within one of her palms, Minji reaches out, creating a dome of solid darkness around her, large enough to cover an area with a diameter of 10 meters and dense enough to completely block the line of sight. Being a rather potent shield, the technique does not allow anything to enter or leave by making its way through it. If sustaining damage from multiple attacks while not being reinforced by Minji making contact to it, the dome will shatter in a manner similar to that of glass.

Black Crystal Blade
Concentrating on the origin of her powers, Minji causes a pitch-black crystalline blade to appear within her hands. While it might seem like the weapon was summoned from thin air, it was actually created from a shard of her own body that was infused with her energy and instantaneously grew into the shape of a blade. Being aware that wielding a sword resembling the infamous Black Crystal would cause unnecessary trouble when used in this era, she usually camouflages its true nature with a dense cloud of darkness, whose wafting presence makes judging the actual shape of the weapon more difficult, the very moment it comes into existence.

Wielding the power of darkness, Sailor Nemesis is capable of opening portals that safely and almost instantly take her to her desired destination, leaving nothing but ephemeral wades of black smoke behind. While it is not too much effort for her to repeatedly teleport herself, this ability, however, puts quite a strain on her body, if she uses it to transport multiple people at once. In order for her to be able to teleport to a place, she has to be familiar with it.

Born from Darkness
Due to having been born from a fragment of the Dark Crystal, Minji cannot be harmed by the element of darkness, is immune to its corruptive influence and can corrupt other beings by kissing them. Her corruptive kiss thereby isn't something that she can control as it simply is the nature of her body. On the on the other hand, the light of the Silver Crystal, which normal people would most likely describe as soothing, is something that she considers highly unpleasant and direct exposal is even painful to her.

When the Silver Crystal chose its representatives of light, Wiseman eventually reacted by creating a representative of darkness from a piece of the Black Crystal. Cultivating the crystal's fragment and forming it into the shape of a human being, Sailor Nemesis, an entity that was never meant to exist, was born into this world. Instilled with the mostly painful memories and emotions of those that had one way or the other lost their lives to the Black Crystal, this warrior of darkness at first was merely a shell filled with agony, housing the tormented souls of those that had perished due to the Black Crystal. It was Wiseman's unholy magic that tore these souls apart and reassembled them over and over again, a process that took centuries until they eventually merged and gave birth to a new conscience.

This new individual, whose hazy memories were nothing, but a rag rug of painfully distorted fragments belonging to several beings, was taken in by Wiseman and named Minji. Carrying the innocence of a child and with grief engraved into her heart, she was like an empty canvas that could be dyed by his teachings. However, he didn't teach her to hate the light as it was already her nature to feel uncomfortable in its presence and instead acted like a beacon of hope to this lost child, reconciling her pain and making her view him as her father and savior. He had given her a place she could consider home, taught her to use her powers and gave her existence a purpose. Teachings could be replaced and ideals be twisted, but the unyielding loyalty of a loving daughter was an everlasting force.

Joining the ranks of the Black Moon as a commanding officer, she was eventually sent back into the past along with the other sisters, the Shades. Tasked with killing the heir to the Moon they were to make sure that everything would develop according to Wiseman's plans. The young woman thereby wasn't released into the world as a devastating storm that wrecked havoc until it lost its momentum, but rather as a poison that poured into its very pores. She was supposed to live her life, learn, fulfill her mission and drench the world in darkness. Arriving in the past, she immediately joined the forces of the Dark Kingdom, joining its rank under the name of "Atheneite". Firmly believing that she was acting for the sake of the future, she would make sure that her father's plan was to succeed.

The more or less harmonic symphony created by people living their lives within the mystical maze known as Crystal City, was suddenly interrupted by the sound of an explosion that was almost immediately followed by a dissonant requiem of screams. Dense, pitch-black wads of smoke rose into the air, partially shading the otherwise innocent sky, while people kept shouting, crying and rushing across the place, desperately clinging to their lives. What to most would at first sight seem like an accident involving a defective gas pipe, actually was nothing else than a sudden Yōma attack hitting the buildings close to the hospital, quickly shrouding the area into violent flames paired with menacing, raven colored fume.

Amidst this chaos a blazing, inhuman silhouette kept leisurely roaming the streets, utilizing the flames sprouting from its body to turn the previously peaceful area into what resembled a warzone, obviously taking pleasure in the despair felt by those falling victim its sinister powers. Minji inhaled deeply, slowly filling her lungs with oxygen before then emptying the same with a placidity that contradicted the madness surrounding her. Hidden within the protective shades thrown upon one of the several balconies, the young Senshi calmly stood on the railing, observing the incident. The appearance of this vicious devil hadn't been her doing, but it served as yet another opportunity to study people and learn the truth that was kept hidden within their hearts.

Her dusky spheres silently traced the Yōma's motions, watched it attack and hurt people as it kept wrecking havoc. Unlike other Senshi, who would have most likely rushed to the scene and used their powers to either stop the demon from hurting these supposedly innocent people or to spread even more chaos, the Asian only kept watching without revealing her presence to either the inhuman creature or its victims. Seeing people suffer like this wasn't what she considered satisfactory as she knew what true pain felt like, but it proved that all of them were nothing but a selfish bunch. Sadness mixed with frustration filled her slightly trembling spheres as she continued to watch the monster's victims sticking at nothing in order to flee from the hell that awaited them.

Some of them even went as far as to purposely sacrifice others in a futile attempt of somehow escaping this nightmare. It was just like her father had told her: even if someone was to save these people, they wouldn't abandon their egoistical ways and change for the better; no, instead they would keep on being selfish, demand to be rescued and rely on some fool to come running and protect them in times of need. With a faint and fragmented memory flashing in front of her eyes, Sailor Nemesis clenched her fists as the fleeting string of images left her with the pain of being abandoned. Why did the followers of the Silver Crystal refuse to see what humans had become? Why did they fail to understand that they had tainted people and were to blame for this development?

No matter how hard she thought about it, she failed to find the answers to these questions as she couldn't tell, if the Senshi were just blinded by the light or simply incapable of understanding that they were wrong. Averting her gaze from the cruel scenery as soon as a new set of voices resounded in the middle of the chaos, a small sigh escaped the woman's peachy lips. "Don't worry, father... I'll make sure to see this trhough." The last syllable had just escaped her throat when her slender figure disappeared within ephemeral wades of ebon darkness.
