January 2031

Eternal is a Sailor Moon role play set after the series, during the rise of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion. 2030 brought much turmoil to Earthlings as the Black Moon and Dark Kingdom’s attacks became more frequent, each attack becoming more disastrous than the previous. But now after Queen Metaria requested Chaos to revive their old comrades to further prosper the Dark Kingdom, a union has formed. Queen Nehellenia has formed an allegiance with the Black Moon, and now both the Dark Kingdom and Black Moon must learn to work with each other’s dissenting beliefs.

Eternal has been around since July 10th, 2018. We have no word count and we utilize real life face claims.

Frequently Asked Questions

What version of the series is this based on?

Eternal merges the 1990s anime, manga, Sailor Moon Crystal and Materials Collection for its story, with a primary focus on the manga for its lore. Players are welcome and encouraged to choose which series they’d prefer to base their characters on.

Are we playing the canon character as they were in the series?

Yes, our canons are not reimagined unless they are on the Galactica roster (e.g. Sailor Cocoon, Sailor Mau), which in that case only the Sailor Starlights and Queen Fireball are to adhere to their canon portrayals. You are welcome to choose their stats: name, ethnicities, age, current situations, but their personalities, histories and relationships adhere to the overall series. Just simply imagine us as a Sailor Moon canon game relocated.

Did the Black Moon arc happen?

Yes it did. Everything in the series happened. Guardian Cosmos would have placed a memory lock on everyone when time travel was affected in order for the future to take a natural course. This means that there won’t be any breaking the fourth wall, as all characters would not remember their original battle against the Black Moon or what they’ve learned. This also means that they would not in any way, recall Chibiusa or their original Crystal Tokyo future.

Why did you relocate the characters to America? More specifically, Orlando, Florida?

We felt that America was a continent that most players felt comfortable playing in rather than Tokyo, Japan, which requires a bit more player knowledge about the Japanese culture. This was in no way a means to whitewash canons, as we do expect players to consider the character’s appearances when choosing a face claim and ethnicity. Orlando was chosen as the admin has actually been to Orlando and she is a Floridian, and feels more comfortable playing in that location than choosing a place like New York, Paris or London.

Does this mean that canons won’t have knowledge of what happened in Tokyo, Japan?

Not necessarily. The way that we’re playing this out, is that the series took place in Orlando, Florida the whole time. Guardian Cosmos would have replaced their memories with Orlando, rather than Tokyo. So, with that in mind, all canons would remember what happened in the series but with Orlando in mind.

Do we have to use real life face claims? What restrictions are there for canons?

Yes. For canon characters, we expect canons to resemble their animanga appearances. The staff team reserve the right to ask for a face claim change if we feel that they're an inappropriate fit, and will work with you on finding an appropriate match.

Can I play an original Sailor Guardian not on the roster?

Unfortunately no, our roster provides all of the Sailor Guardian roles that we’ll allow at this time. We would prefer to keep it realistic with limited slots.

Can my character be related to a canon character?

No, we won’t allow any familial relations at this time unless they are canons.

Can knights awaken in game?

No, we’d prefer them to already be awakened. We feel that awakenings take too much time and slow progression.

Can I change the name of the guardians, e.g. Luna, Artemis, Phobos and Deimos?

Each guardian may have a human form but we feel that it isn't necessary for them to alter their names, so no. You may register as Luna Lunette, Artemis ___, Phobos ___, Deimos ___ if you desire.

What about Rei? She’s a shrine priestess.

Which we understand! We encourage her player to create a unique backstory for Rei’s religiosity in our game.

Does the world know about Sailor Saturn? Sailor Pluto?

The world knows about Sailor Saturn, but not that she is the harbinger of destruction. The world does not know about Sailor Pluto.
